TypeCoach Privacy Policy

TypeCoach has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your answers and results are stored only on your device and are never sent to me. The only data that leaves the device is the anonymous RevenueCat purchase record that unlocks and restores the Full report. A PDF or an image of your result goes only where you choose through your phone's share sheet.

Your answers to the test, your past results (your history) and your language choice. All of this is stored only on your device. It is never sent to me or to anyone else, there is no cloud copy, and it is deleted when you delete the app. You can also clear your history from inside the app.

The Full report can be turned into a PDF, and your result can be turned into an image. The file is made on your device and handed to your phone's share sheet. It goes only where you choose from there (a messaging app, your email, your files or, with "Save image", your photos), and nothing is sent to me.

The result screen shows an optional card for a real person, a life coach, with a button that opens a booking page (cal.com) in your browser. This is a plain external link: nothing is sent when you open the app, the page only loads if you tap the button, and any booking and payment happen outside TypeCoach, on that page and under its own policy. TypeCoach itself takes no payment for it.

No sign-up or login. No advertising and no advertising identifiers. No analytics or usage tracking. No access to the camera, the microphone, your location, your contacts or your files. No chat and no content from other users.

The purchase is made through the Apple App Store or Google Play. They handle the payment; I never see or receive your payment details, name or email.

To unlock the Full report and let you restore it on another device, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase management service. When the app talks to RevenueCat it sends an anonymous, randomly generated identifier and the record of your purchase from the store (which product, when, and the store's receipt). This identifier is not linked to your name, email or any contact information, it never includes your answers or results, and this data is not used for advertising or tracking. As with any internet connection, RevenueCat's servers also receive the technical data needed to answer the request, such as the device's IP address. RevenueCat's own policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.

Even if you never open the purchase screen or buy the Full report, the app still starts RevenueCat to check whether a previous purchase exists, with the same anonymous identifier.

TypeCoach is a tool for self-reflection. It is not a clinical, hiring or diagnostic test, and it is not medical or psychological advice.

TypeCoach is made for adults and teenagers, not for young children. I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

You can delete your saved results in the app (Clear history), and you can delete all data stored by the app on your device at any time by deleting the app. To have the anonymous purchase record held by RevenueCat deleted, write to contact@hakolkal.com with your store order number and I will delete it.

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
