Mobile app development for iOS and Android

I build cross-platform mobile apps with React Native and Expo: one codebase that runs natively on iPhone and Android. I also build my own apps under the Hakolkal name, so I deal with the store requirements myself, not just for clients.

What I build

Consumer apps, companion apps for an existing web platform, and internal apps for field teams. Typical features: accounts, in-app subscriptions, push notifications, camera and photo picking, printable or shareable exports, and data that keeps working offline.

The stack

React Native with Expo and EAS Build, so iOS and Android ship from the same code and updates go out quickly. RevenueCat for subscriptions and in-app purchases. Firebase or Node.js when the app needs a back end, shared with your web app when you have one.

Store submission included

App Store and Google Play each have their own review rules, privacy forms, screenshots and age ratings. I prepare the listings, the privacy policy pages and the builds, and I handle the review back-and-forth until the app is approved.

How a project runs

The first version is scoped small enough to ship, then you install test builds on your own phone as the work progresses. Billing is time and materials, and full ownership of the custom code transfers to you on final payment.

Questions

Do I need separate apps for iPhone and Android?
No. With React Native one codebase produces both apps, which keeps the cost and the maintenance close to a single app.
Can the app share data with my website?
Yes. The app and the website can use the same back end and the same user accounts, so a customer sees the same data everywhere.
Who publishes the app on the stores?
The app is published under your own developer accounts, so you stay the owner. I prepare everything and handle the submission and the review.
