Tahel: My Day Privacy Policy
Effective 6 October 2026
In short
Tahel: My Day has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. It does not collect personal information from children or from anyone else. Your settings stay on your device. The only data that leaves the device is the record of an in-app purchase, handled anonymously so the Full version can be unlocked and restored.
Who I am
Tahel: My Day is a visual day schedule app for children, with routines and a star jar, made by me, Jordan Perez (Hakolkal), Israel. Questions about this policy: contact@hakolkal.com.
What stays on your device
The app remembers your choices: your schedules and their picture cards, the names you give them, the first-then board, the language, the volume, the animations setting and whether background music is on. These are stored only on your device, are never sent anywhere, and are deleted when you delete the app.
Routines work the same way: the routines you build, their picture cards and how far your child got in each routine today are stored locally on this device and are never sent anywhere.
Stars too: the stars your child earns for a finished day or a finished routine, the star jar and its weekly count are stored locally on this device, are never sent to a server or to me, and are deleted when you delete the app.
Your photos (Full version)
If you choose to make a picture card from one of your photos, or to put a child's photo on a schedule so a child who cannot read yet can find his own day, the app opens your photo library for that one photo, and only when you ask. The photo you pick is copied into the app's own storage on your device, is never uploaded or sent anywhere, and is deleted when you delete the app. The child's photo on a schedule stays on this device, is never uploaded, and is not added to the printed schedule. The app never uses the camera.
What the app does not do
No sign-up or login. No advertising and no advertising identifiers. No analytics or usage tracking. No access to the camera, the microphone, your location or your contacts. No chat, no links to social networks, and no content from other users.
Notifications
The first time a timer starts, the app asks for permission to show notifications. They are used only for the end-of-timer ring (the quick timer or a card's timer), so a timer can still ring when the app is in the background or closed. They are local notifications scheduled on your device: there are no push notifications, no marketing, and nothing is sent to a server or to me. If you refuse, the app works as before and rings only while it is open. You can change this at any time in your device's settings.
In-app purchase (the Full version)
Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play. They handle the payment; I never see or receive your payment details, name or email.
To unlock the Full version and let you restore it on another device, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase management service. When the app talks to RevenueCat it sends an anonymous, randomly generated identifier and the record of your purchase from the store (which product, when, and the store's receipt). This identifier is not linked to your name, email or any contact information, and this data is not used for advertising or tracking. As with any internet connection, RevenueCat's servers also receive the technical data needed to answer the request, such as the device's IP address. RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.
If you never open the purchase screen or buy the Full version, the app still starts RevenueCat to check whether a previous purchase exists, using the same anonymous identifier.
Children
Tahel: My Day is made for children and is designed so that a child can use it without sharing anything. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The purchase screen is behind a parental gate (a question for adults), so a child cannot open it by accident.
Your choices
You can delete all data stored by the app on your device at any time by deleting the app. To ask about the anonymous purchase record held by RevenueCat, write to contact@hakolkal.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
